Salon Cancellation and Lateness Policy

Your appointments are very important to all members of our team at Arbor. Time allocated for an appointment is reserved specifically for you. We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours' notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time with a client on our waiting list. It also leaves a gap in your stylist’s schedule which directly affects their pay. 

We ask that all new guests supply a credit card to have on file. All cards on file are added to the system via a secure electronic process that ensures the information is encrypted and remains secure. In the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations the following fees will be applied to your card or alternatively billed out to you:

  • Notification given at least 48 hours prior to your appointment will receive no charges.
  • Notification given 24 hours in advance or the same day of appointment time will result in a 50% charge of the reserved service amount.
  • Failure to not show up for your appointment without a call, email, or any form of communication with the Arbor team will result in a 100% charge of the reserved service amount scheduled.

Confirmation Emails: As a courtesy, we will send out an email when you make an appointment.  A confirmation email also goes out to you for your service appointment two business days prior to the appointment date.  Please ensure that we have your current email address on file so we can send you these important reminders.

Reminder SMS Texts: If you have a mobile phone, we will also send out a short text reminding you of your appointment 48 hours prior to your appointment. You can confirm your appointment directly through this text reminder as well. 

It remains your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and help us service our guests better by providing enough notice to avoid the cancellation fees.

We also graciously ask that if you will be more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may ask you to reschedule as we want adequate time to accomplish your hair goals.  When possible, we will do our best to alter your services so that we can offer you an appointment upon your arrival, however, many of our services do not have the ability to do so.
